Do it for the love of writing and stitorellyng.  Anything you get in retrospect will just be a bonus.   Perfect!  As a writer myself, I know I'm sticking with the ups and downs because I love the craft and getting the words right.  When I get a publication credit, it is that much sweeter because I am being rewarded and validated simply for doing what I love.Congrats on the publication!
